Tim joined the club more by accident than design after finding himself on the same Egypt dive holiday as the HDC crew. Despite living in Dorset at the time he stayed active with the club and eventually became known as the “Dorset Branch”. Now living in Stevenage he is a core member of the dive team and enjoys teaching and sharing his passion for scuba.
As well as being one of the club instructors, Tim’s primary role with the dive club is with marketing. He designed, built and maintains the Herts Dive Club website as well as designing graphics for posters etc. If you are looking to sell some old dive kit (to make room for new kit obviously) then Tim is your guy, drop him the details and he will add it to the club shop. A familiar face on many dive trips he still likes to meet up with the gang whenever possible. Tim is also known to dabble in the “Dark Side” of diving with an interest in more technical diving as well.
He holds various diving qualifications (both recreational and technical) including:
Technical Qualifications
Recreational Qualifications
- Master Scuba Diver Trainer
- Emergency First Responder instructor
- Defib instructor
- Speciality Instructor (Deep Diver, Drift Diver, Dry Suit Diver, Enriched Air, Wreck Diver, PPB, Search & Recovery, Project AWARE, Reef Conservation)
